I’m offering a small number of 1-2-1 walk and talk and traditional counselling sessions in Blackpool.

It’s a private, straightforward space to:

  • Talk things through honestly

  • Start getting moving again—mentally and physically

My approach is simple:
No fluff. No jargon. No pretending.

Just honest conversation, practical thinking and forward movement.

I’m a BACP registered counsellor with a Master’s degree in Positive Psychology & Counselling, and I’ve spent over 40 years working in coaching, teaching and supporting people. I won’t dress things up—but I will listen, and I will help you face things properly.

Mind In Motion (MIM) CIC is a community-based organisation based in Blackpool, Lancashire, UK. MIM was founded by CEO Alan Gaynor, Counsellor and Sports Scientist.

MIM uses physical activity, movement and the natural environment, combined with positive psychology interventions to strengthen, support and maintain healthy and resilient mental wellbeing.

Across the UK, specifically Blackpool, Fylde & Wyre, there are many people who struggle with stress, low confidence and feeling stuck for a variety of differing reasons and avoidance can become a habit, and motivation can feel non-existent .

At MIM we maintain that physical movement builds mental strength, consistent action creates habit forming and long lasting change.
